Cookie policy

At Prosotto, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep our platform running smoothly, make your experience better, and ensure your data stays secure. This policy explains what these tools are, how we use them, and the simple choices you have to manage them.

In short, cookies are tiny text files that get saved to your device when you use our app or visit our website. They act like a digital memory, helping us recognise your device so we can remember your preferences or keep you logged in.

We group our cookies into three simple categories:

Essential Cookies, We need these for the platform to work. They handle things like keeping you logged in and keeping the site secure. Because they're vital for the app to function, you can't switch these off.

Performance & Analytics Cookies, These help us understand how people use Prosotto, like which features are popular or how long people spend on a page. This feedback is essential for us to improve the service. These are entirely optional, and we only use them if you say it's okay.

Functionality Cookies, These let us tailor the app to you, such as remembering your preferred language settings. These are also optional, and we only use them with your permission.

We follow the UK's privacy rules, which means we use an "opt-in" model. You aren't tracked unless you actively agree to it.

Your First Visit, When you first join us, you'll see a simple banner asking if you're happy for us to use non-essential cookies.

Changing Your Mind, If you ever change your mind, you can update your choices at any time. Just head over to Account Settings and look for Cookie or Privacy Settings.

Browser Settings, You can also manage cookies directly through your web browser, though keep in mind that blocking them entirely might make some parts of our platform a bit clunky.

We partner with a few trusted service providers (like analytics teams) who might place cookies to help us deliver our service. We're very picky about who we work with; we ensure they meet our high data protection standards and don't use your information for their own tracking or advertising.

Whether you're in the UK or elsewhere, we aim to uphold the highest privacy standards. We align our practices with UK law (GDPR/PECR) and strive to meet the specific requirements of wherever you are in the world.

Technology and laws change, and we might update this policy from time to time. If we make any big changes, we'll be sure to let you know through the platform.
