About GM Innovation Expo

The GM Innovation Expo 2026 takes place on 21 October at the Manchester Central Convention Complex on Windmill Street. This flagship annual event celebrates innovation, collaboration, and business growth within Greater Manchester. The Expo is designed for small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups, universities, and research institutions. It also serves investors, funders, policymakers, and business support organisations looking to explore emerging technologies and build new partnerships. The event aims to create meaningful connections that lead to practical opportunities for those seeking to take new innovations forward or secure funding and support. The format of the day includes innovation showcases and live demonstrations across sectors such as artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, green technologies, and life sciences. Attendees can participate in structured networking and observe discussions exploring the future of innovation. The programme focuses on themes of leadership, workforce development, sales, and sustainability. Participants can access information regarding funding opportunities and gain insights into the latest trends shaping the region. The event provides a platform to discover new technologies and connect with potential collaborators, customers, and partners.
