Founder's vision

I built Prosotto because I couldn't find the connections I needed.

Hi, I'm Sophie, a working mum of three. I wanted to find the right people to podcast with, and there was no simple way to do it. Every search turned into hours of cold outreach.

When we shop online, we filter by category, fit and size. So why can't we do the same to find the right people?

Prosotto is a private space to connect with real intent. No algorithm, no content feed. Anything worth sharing, you share directly with the person you're connecting with.

The vision: bring back real professional relationships, where a simple coffee can become a success story.

Questions people ask

How Prosotto works, in short

What is Prosotto?

Prosotto is a private professional network, free to join. Find the right people near you by location, industry and what you're looking for, then talk privately or meet for coffee. No feed, no algorithm deciding who you meet.

How do I find the right people to connect with?

Use the filters: choose a location, an industry and a goal such as clients, collaborators, podcast guests, mentors or investors. You see only the members who match, and you message them one to one, privately.

How do I find networking events happening soon?

Open the Prosotto events hub at prosotto.com/networking-events and pick your city or a topic such as tech, startup, AI, HR or property. Each page lists real upcoming professional events, linked to the official organiser page, and members can see who else is going.

Is Prosotto free?

Yes, members can join Prosotto free on the web or through the iOS app.

Can I arrange a meet in chat?

Yes. Once you are connected, open My calendar from your chat and choose Schedule a meet. Choose Coffee, Lunch, Breakfast, Brunch, Afternoon tea, A walk, Mocktail, Cocktail, A glass of something, Tennis, Golf, Padel, Running, Cycling, Gym, Sailing or Fishing, or Write your own. Meet by video call is a separate option. Offer up to three dates and times, choose 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, and add an optional place, map link and short note. Your connection can choose a time, suggest other times or decline. Accepted meets appear in My calendar and can be added to Apple or your phone calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. For video meets, Join video call is available in My calendar and the chat Meetings tab from 10 minutes before the start.

How is Prosotto different from LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is built around a public feed and follower counts. Prosotto has nothing to post: you filter to find specific professionals and talk one to one, privately, and you can see who is going to the same events before you arrive.
